Glee Season 2 Episode 12 – Silly Love Songs
The glee club’s new assignment is about singing love songs. Puck wants Lauren to go out with him and dedicates his version of Queen’s “Fat Bottomed Girls” to her. Lauren resists but eventually agrees to go out on a date with Puck.
To celebrate having great girlfriends, Artie and Mike perform Michael Jackson’s “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)” and dedicate their number to Brittany and Tina. Later, Tina sings “My Funny Valentine” and dedicates it to Mike, but she breaks down in the middle of the song and cries.
At Dalton Academy, Blaine tells Kurt about wanting to sing a song to his crush. Kurt thinks Blaine is referring to him so he agrees. He finds out that Blaine was actually referring to Jeremiah, a manager at GAP. Blaine sings Robin Thicke’s “When I Get You Alone” to Jeremiah, but Blaine is rejected because his singing cost the guy his job. Kurt later confronts Blaine regarding the “crush” issue. Blaine and Kurt decide to work on their friendship.
Finn opens a kissing booth for Valentine’s Day to let the glee club earn money and so that he can kiss Quinn again. Sam becomes suspicious of the ex-couple, who have started seeing each other again behind his back.
Because Santana complains that Finn’s kiss is not worth the money, she ends up having everyone else on her case. She gets her revenge by spreading mono and proving that Quinn and Finn have been cheating on Sam.
